Xiaomi Redmi Y3 is the first phone in the Redmi Y series, and it will go on sale in India from June 20. Redmi Y3 price in India starts at Rs 8,999 for the 3GB RAM+32GB storage version, going up to Rs 12,999 for the 4GB RAM+64GB storage version.
The highlight of the new Redmi Y series smartphone is its 16MP front camera with AI Beauty mode, though it also gets a 12MP + 5MP dual camera setup on the rear. The Redmi Y3 has a dual-SIM card slot, and support for a microSD card. The phone runs MIUI 9.6.6.

The key selling point of the Redmi Y series is its camera, though the company has not revealed the megapixels of the rear camera. In terms of price, Xiaomi Redmi Y2, which is successor of the Redmi Y1, comes with a 16MP+5MP rear camera and a 13MP front-facing camera. The phone has a 5.5-inch FHD+ display. In China, the Redmi Y1 is priced at CNY 999 (Rs 10,000 approx) for the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage option.
