Samsung Galaxy A72 Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy A72 runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with the company’s Samsung Experience UX on top. The smartphone sports a 6-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2220 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18.5:9.
The Samsung Galaxy A72 is powered by a 1.6 GHz octa-core processor which is coupled with 4 GB RAM. The smartphone has a single storage variant which is 64 GB, but the company has confirmed that it will be launching a 128 GB variant as well.
The smartphone also has a microSD card slot, which allows users to further expand the storage space up to 512 GB. The Samsung Galaxy A72 is the first smartphone from the company to be launched with the Snapdragon 710 SoC, which is an octa-core processor with clocked at 1.7 GHz and Mali-G71 GPU. The smartphone also comes with 6 GB RAM.
The Galaxy A72 has a dual camera setup with the combination of a 24 MP and 5 MP cameras on the back, and a 13 MP snapper on the front. On the connectivity side, the Samsung Galaxy A72 has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS + GLONASS, 3.5 mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port.
The smartphone has a 3300 mAh Li-ion battery with support for fast charging via micro USB port, and the phone does not support wireless charging. The Galaxy A72 comes with IP68 certification for water and dust resistance.
The Samsung Galaxy A72 has been launched in Lilac Purple and Black colors, and, it ships with a dedicated Bixby button which will enable Bixby to wake up the phone. The smartphone will be available in the Indian market from September 28.
XL variant will be available in Black with Lilac Purple color variant next week on Sept.28, 2018. This model will be available exclusively on Amazon at 6.99 INR.
