Samsung Galaxy A8 and Galaxy A8+ are two popular mid-range smartphones from the Korean giant with 18:9 aspect ratios. The company last month introduced the Galaxy A8+ (2018) in India as well, and it has already started receiving a monthly security patch, which is a good start. These two smartphones sport a 6-inch Infinity Display with a full-HD+ resolution and come with dedicated Bixby keys. The A8 sports a Snapdragon 450 SoC, and the A8+ is backed by a more powerful Snapdragon 660 SoC. Both phones come with a dual rear camera setup with a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 24-megapixel secondary sensor. They also sport a 16-megapixel selfie camera. Further, the Galaxy A8 and A8+ are backed by a 3500mAh battery that comes with support for wireless charging and fast charging as well.

The dual-SIM (Nano) Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) runs Android 8.0 Oreo on top of Samsung Experience on top of Samsung's custom UI. It sports a 6-inch full-HD+ (1080x2220 pixels) Infinity display with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio, 2.5D curved glass, and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The smartphone is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM.
